When a large volume of similar data files exist, for example ECG recordings from 20 subjects, it may be most efficient to use a batch processing script. This BIOPAC Basic Script will open all files with the .acq extension in a batch directory, and run the user specified analysis. In this example the mean heart rate from every two second interval will be calculated and exported into an individual Excel file. This will be done for each data file in the batch directory. The script will also name each Excel file accordingly.
