Learning Objectives:

  1. Introduction to the physiology recording platform
  • Overview of the physiological data acquisition system
  • Signals understanding (sampling rate, amplification, and filter)
  1. Acquisition setting and good recording practice
  • Introduction to setting up a data acquisition system
  • Subject preparation
  1. Analysis and automation:
  • Analysis of ECG, EDA, respiration (HRV, RSA, SSC)
  • Learn how to automate your data acquisition and analysis using workflow
  1. Interactive Discussions and Q&A:
  • Engage with experts and fellow researchers to address your specific research needs and inquiries.

Workshop Instructor: Vineet Gopal has a degree in engineering and a post-graduate diploma in business management. He has been a significant contributor to the Indian life sciences research industry, along with BIOPAC since 2004. He has facilitated various research groups in establishing labs and optimizing research protocols. He has been involved in customizing products for various research applications and acknowledged in several research papers. Moreover, he has provided constant support for the life science industry’s growth and development by conducting and delivering lectures at various physiology and engineering conferences and workshops. Presently, he is contributing to Canada’s life science research as a consultant with BIOPAC.

Details: Please note that due to the hands-on nature of the workshop, this session will be available only in person and it will not be recorded.

Location: The CABHI Innovation Space is located on the first floor, past the KIMEL Elevators and The Elkie Adler MS Clinic. When arriving at the CABHI space, please ring the doorbell.
