Noninvasive Cardiac Output Sensor – MP3X

Impedance Cardiography Module

Measure Impedance Magnitude (Zo) and Derivative of Impedance Magnitude (dZ/dt)

Noninvasive bioimpedance technique to measure relative differences in Cardiac Output and Stroke Volume

The SS31LA simultaneously measures Impedance Magnitude (Zo; labeled “Z” on the module) and Derivative of Impedance Magnitude (dZ/dt; labeled “DZ” on the module). The SS31LA noninvasively records the parameters associated with Cardiac Output measurements.

  • Measure changes in Cardiac Output under a variety of conditions: laying down, sitting up, standing up, and post-exercise.
  • Use the Kubicek equation to determine Stroke Volume and Cardiac Output.
  • For respiration measurements, observe the associated variation in the Impedance Magnitude “Z” signal.

Use with an 8 spot electrode lead configuration and use on stationary subjects—the SS31LA is sensitive to motion artifact.
